Advanced Welding & Steel, Inc. (AWS) is owned and operated by Ryan Uhlenkott in Grangeville, Idaho. AWS began as a small capacity welding shop servicing local customers with their welding needs in 1998. As Ryan’s business began to rapidly grow, he saw an opportunity to take AWS into the larger commercial market. Before starting his own business, Ryan worked for other steel fabricators as a project superintendent. Today, AWS has the capability of producing over 400 tons of steels per month. All structural steel welding is done by AWS and WABO certified welders in an AISC certified facility. AWS undergoes annual audits (conforming to the UBC and IBC for Approved Fabricators) which include testing of welders and approval of fabrication and quality control processes. AWS is very pleased that it has never been denied Approved Fabricator status by any state or locality. AWS maintains Approved Fabricator status in Spokane (WA) County (currently one of only twelve shops approved for Structural Steel Fabrication) and numerous other counties. AWS is very proud of its strong record in timely performance and quality workmanship. AWS is primarily interested in industrial, commercial and institutional projects. The target geographic area is composed of Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Western Montana, Nevada, Utah, California, Arizona, Hawaii, and Alaska. AWS’s goal is to achieve an annual income of 11 million this year. With quality employees and the proficient detailers, this goal should be easily attainable. Professional out-of-house detailers, quality fabrication and our in-house quality control are our secrets to success. |
